The Palace of Fine Arts is one of my favorite locations in San Francisco. The architecture is exquisite and changes with the light all day long, a photographers dream.

Milwaukee is know for its brewing, and Pabst beer is one of their favorites. I went to the Pabst Mansion and was very excited to see another opportunity for taking photographs of architectural details.

Big Sur in Northern California is always exciting to drive through, especially in the rain or fog. However during this Santa Ana, they had the clearest skies that any of the locals could remember.

This picture is in downtown Los Angeles, CA. I love to take pictures of reflections and this old window pane was large enough to see the reflection of a light post and building from across the street.

When I went to Astoria, OR the harbor was socked in with fog. The main bridge was shrouded in fog and there was an optical illusion that made it look like the far end of the bridge had fallen away.

Portland, OR is the City of Roses and their famous Rose Garden in Washington Park proves it. I went in August and the blooms were magnificent and seemed like they went on forever.

This is the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C. I was very pleased to see how well my camera was able to record all of the veins in the marble and the architectural detail of the monument from a distance.

Near New Orleans, LA in Slidell, I went on a canoe ride through a swamp. With calm water in the late afternoon, I was able to catch the sun streaming through the trees and reflecting off the water.

On a photo cruise to Mexico, I liked the wavy reflection of a staircase in a stainless steel elevator door. I captured the unusual effect in this photograph.

This is special photograph because, when I first arrived at the Swan House in Atlanta, GA it was pouring down rain. So I placed my coat over my camera and the result was fantastic!

Two landmarks of Chicago, IL are the Sears Tower and the L Train. I was able to capture the two of them together. It definitely captured the essence of Chicago!

I have been actively involved in art and photography for over thirty years. I was born and raised in San Diego, CA and attended the University of California in Santa Barbara where I studied printmaking and Art History. During my semester at Sea I studied art throughout Europe, Africa and South America. I also hold a teaching credential. I began working in art galleries at 16 and started my own business in 1971 as an art consultant. I have been a photographer for over 25 years and am very enthusiastic about experiementing with techniques such as hand coloring, polaroid transfers and digital manipulation.
